Last night the VMA’s premiered on MTV! The night started off with the pre-show where the stars arrived at the red carpet. All the stars looked amazing! Ashley Green from Twilight talked to the stars about there chooses of outfit. I’m going to show you my best and worst list for the night! After the list I will talk more about the awards show(:
Best Dressed:

Taylor Swift! I love her dress! It’s simple, but gorgeous! 2.
Kristin looks great in this mini metallic dress!

Beyonce looks amazing in red! It definitely her color!
Worst Dressed:
1. 
I do not like Katy Perry’s dress! The cut of the dress is very weird, and it’s just not a great shape.

Lady Gaga’s style is just too much for me! I’m not really a fan!

Whitney Port’s dress just isn’t the best. It could be cute, but the shoes are wrong for the dress.

Taylor Lautner looks great! He looks very grown up and sophisticated!
Now for the awards show…..
The award show started with Madonna talking about Michael Jackson, then they did a tribute to him. The tribute had dancers dancing to Thriller, Bad, Smooth Criminal, and ending with Janet Jackson coming out during Scream. It was amazing! Then the host Russel Brand came out. He’s funny, but sometimes the things he says aren’t very good for kids to hear. The first award given was Female Video of the Year. The winner was Taylor Swift!!! During her acceptance speech Kanye West came on the stage and said, “Beyonce had one of the best videos of ALL TIME! Leaving Taylor speechless she ran to get ready for her performance. Taylor performed “You Belong With Me”. Many other artists performed including: Pink, Beyonce, and Green Day! When Beyone received one of her awards she brought Taylor back on stage to finish her speech! It was so nice! Over all the awards were great! I had fun watching them!

ali. I really liked reading this blog! I definately agreed with all of these, especially that Taylor Swift’s dress was the best. I liked your summary of the award show because I did not have a chance to watch it! It was very organized, and you did a great job 🙂

I think Katy Perry looks like a sleazy Ice Skater in that dress. And what’s with Cruela DeVille showing up at the VMAs (a.k.a. Lady Gaga)? Taylor Swift is proof that you can be classy and elegant and still look trendy.
Oh yeah…It’s a good thing Taylor Lautner called me to borrow that suit…he was going to wear a werewolf outfit until I told him that would land him straight at the top of the Worst Dressed list (even ahead of Katy Perry). 🙂

I have to agree with you. Katy’s dress does look like a ice skater. Lady Gaga just has the weirdest style. She’ll definately always be on the worst dress list if she looks like that (:
